Everyone probably has a small set of best-fit foods that allows optimal functioning. Your first goal is to identify the simplest set of best foods for you. This is the core of your new "Alpha Diet", which you will design by following the Alpha Nutrition Program. There are twelve common staple foods along with rice products, vegetable oil choices and five flavoring herbs.

Alpha ENF            Rice cereal

Alpha OMX            Rice Dream

Basil                     Rice flour

Broccoli                 Rice noodles

Canola Oil              Rice, cooked

Carrots                  Rosemary

Chicken                 Safflower oil

Green beans        

Olive oil                 Squash

Oregano                Sweet potatoes

Parsley                  Thyme

Peaches                Turkey

Pears                     Yams

Peas                      Zucchini

There are 30 items in the food list including the formulas. Water intake should be generous. Alpha ENF, Alpha DMX and Alpha OMX are optional nutrient formulas you may choose to use in Phase 1.  The best-tolerated, "safest" foods are eaten during Phase 1, establishing a basic set of staple foods around which you will build suitable menus. There is no guarantee that all the Phase 1 foods will suit you; the odds are in your favor, so be optimistic when you try them out.  Remember that any foods that do not appear on this list are not to be eaten during phase 1 which lasts 10 days or longer..
