All Alpha Nutrition products and services are ordered online. We ship through the Post Office to all destinations in Continental USA. All correspondence about your order is done by email. We are located on the Pacific Coast of Canada near Vancouver, British Columbia and Seattle Washington. We have been shipping to the US since 1992. Our products are not sold in retail stores.

The cost of orders in US funds depends on the exchange rate allowed by your credit card bank.  We charge your credit card account in Canadian $ and you get the exchange rate offered by your credit card company.  If you pay by PayPal the cost in USD will be shown as you complete the order. Please see our Current Prices for more Information.

Shipping The cost of transportation is increasing. Alpha Online attempts to compensate for higher shipping cost by offering discounts on quantity orders. We are convinced that the Post Office in Canada and the USA offer the lowest shipping price and best service available.  As you create an order you  will see a shipping cost estimate from Canada Post. The USPS cost includes brokerage charges incurred when the shipment passes through US Customs. When we ship orders to the US, our packages arrive in Blaine Washington within 24 hours, and are then the responsibility of the US Postal Service. Our shipments clear US customs and are then are directed to your address. The FDA requires prior notification of food-related shipments and we comply completely. You will find the FDA notification attached to your order.

Because of increased cost, we ship all orders by Expedited Mail.  Delivery time is usually 5-10 business days to major cities. Plan ahead and allow at least  10 days for delivery. Occasional delivery delays ( longer than 14 days) have occurred to rural addresses in the USA.  If faster delivery is really required, please comment in your order and we send you an email with a quote on the Priority Mail cost.

Looking ahead to a challenging 2012: Our ingredient and  freight costs have escalated dramatically. By drastically reducing our local overhead we have continued to offer low prices and quantity discounts online thru 2011. As we better  understand the increasing costs, in January 2012 we will adjusting our prices, and reducing our discounts.

Shipment Tracking: E-mail Notification: All correspondence is done by email. Please be sure that your email address is correct and the your mail server and your junk email filters will allow our emails to reach you. You will receive an e-mail notifications: 1. when you order has been paid; 2. as soon as your package has been shipped and 3. when your package is out for delivery. Tracking is done thru Canadian Post online. Although the US Postal Service is responsible for delivery, they will not show tracking information on their online service. Instead, the USPS  sends tracking information to Canada Post. The email you receive from Canada Post will have a link to your tracking information. This arrangement works well 99% of the time. When there is a problem it arises either with US Customs delays, or at the delivery post office, close to your address. We are aware the the USPS is experiencing serious money problems and is closing small PO outlets and laying off staff. We hope that their difficulties will not result in deteriorating service.

The Post Office will deliver your package. By placing an order, you, the Buyer warrant that the delivery addresses is complete and correct and that you will be available to receive the shipment or will delegate the responsibility of receiving the shipment to a responsible party.  We have no control over what happens at the address you provide. If there are delivery complications at your address, you will need to discuss this with your local post office or otherwise make arrangements for receiving the parcel. If the post delivery person cannot leave the parcel, he or she will leave a notice for you to either contact the postal outlet by phone to arrange another delivery attempt or  they may request that you go to the postal outlet to sign for and receive the parcel. Our obligation to deliver your order ends with delivery to the regional post office. All costs incurred by failed delivery to the address supplied by you will be paid by you. The seller accepts no responsibility for the cost of goods when delivery is refused by the buyer, lost by the Post Office, or for goods stolen or damaged. All shipments are insured by the post office. Claims for loss or damage are paid by the post office following their investigation.

No Returns Our products and services are high quality and designed for thoughtful and considerate people.  Returns are costly both to you and to Alpha Online and our goal is to lower costs by avoiding returns. Please note all discounted sales are final with no return privileges. 

Returns from the US are so expensive, that we never consider accepting a USA return.

Starter packs are sold at a discount and are not refundable  Printed texts are refundable only if returned unopened in original shrink-wrap. eBooks are not refundable. There are no refunds on deliveries outside Canada.  If you are a new user and you are not sure about using the Alpha Nutrient formulas, be sure to read the product information carefully. We recommend ordering a  500 Gram jar of the formula or a Starter Pack (which includes a 500 Gram jar) so that you have complete information about formula use and smaller amount of the formula to evaluate before you order a larger quantity.

Order Terms: An online order is a Sales Contract  An order placed online is a sales contract between Alpha Nutrition Online, a division of Environmed Research Inc. hereafter called the Seller and you, the Buyer. By placing and order online, you are entering a sales contract with the Seller. Both parties accept duties and obligations. By placing an order online, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees to  the following terms and conditions of sale. Payment for products ordered online shall be made in advance of the order shipment by credit card, Pay Pal, money order or other electronic transfer of funds. The Buyer warrants that payments made by Pay Pal and/or credit card banks are final and binding on the buyer and cannot be refunded by charge back.
